THE MOTIVATION

LOSING THE “SELF

A mentor once told me that human beings are like "black holes".  That we are always pulling in objects from outside ourselves, looking for happiness.  We do this with the people in our lives, objects, material wealth/possessions and over achieving to obtain a stronger sense of our "self".  All of us go through this process over and over again, creating new masks, rather than liberating our hearts and minds. Imagine what it might be like to go into that "black hole" and bear witness to what is really there.  Who we really are.

I have survived a great loss from my childhood and that experience caused my heart to be in exhile for much too long.  I humbly believe my journey started in my teens, but moving into young adulthood inspired the hunger for authentic belonging.  Societal and cultural programming at times requires us to split ourselves to fit in.  The feminine, the masculine. Life’s circumstances and our culture has us feeling fragmented at times. A constant tug of war that has us living a dichotomy which causes more pain and suffering.  We can achieve balance and harmony when we unite and bridge the forces of perceived opposites. My journey has been about liberating my heart fully - surrendering to immense vulnerability, through my own dark initiations while being held by grace.

I am truly grateful for this life and offer you my heart, journey, experiences and tools, in service to your heart - because ultimately we are one being.  We all need each other and cannot go the journey alone.

I invite you to take that journey for yourself.  If you are feeling called to dive deeper into yourself for answers, I will be honored to be of service and guide you.
